 INVITATION
The main goal of IDAACS'2001 is to discuss the state-of-the-art theory, technology, curriculum, and applications of Intelligent Data Acquisition (DAQ) and Advanced Computer Systems. The applications areas include the design of measurement, automation, and information retrieval systems in business, scientific research, and education. The rapid development of intelligent data acquisition and high-performance computing (HPC) in these areas has created more effective, sensitive, and accurate methods for data acquisition and data processing in manufacturing, environmental modeling, medical systems, and laboratory science. These new methods have begun to enhance the quality of information measurement for automation, process inspection, quality control, diagnostics, and other areas of business, science, and education.
 THE EXPECTED BENEFIT
The importance of IDAACS'2001 is to help provide a vision through which research teams scientists can establish and maintain a network of professional contacts. This will enhance the prospects for future joint research collaborations among scientists, engineers, educators, and businesses from different countries.
IDAACS'2001 will provide a forum in which professionals from different spheres - academia, industry, computer hardware manufacturers, and public and private research institutions - to discuss topics of mutual interest. Specifically, this workshop will promote the development of relationships between Ukrainian academic and industrial institutions and their counterparts in other Western countries and countries of the former Soviet Union.
