Remembering Professor Wiesław Winiecki With heavy hearts we would like to deliver a sad news that a nice man, our close friend and active member of the IDAACS Family - Professor Wiesław Winiecki passed away on September 5, 2019. Professor Wieslaw was a great scientist who played a prominent and important role in founding and developing the IDAACS Conferences. He was a member of the IDAACS International Advisory Board, a member of the IDAACS International Program Committee, Co-Chairman of IDAACS 2015 in Warsaw, Poland. His organization of the IDAACS – 2015 meeting was excellent and memorable. We miss Him dearly and will always remember! --- My, organizatorzy konferencji naukowej IDAACS, jednoczymy się w żałobie oraz składamy najserdeczniejsze wyrazy współczucia rodzinie i bliskim Pana profesora Wiesława Winieckiego. Bardzo ciężko pogodzić się ze stratą tak wielkiego człowieka. Pan profesor był naszym długoletnim kolegą, stałym doradcą, członkiem Komitetu Naukowego oraz Programowego, był również członkiem Rady Nadzorczej konferencji naukowej IDAACS, a od 2001 roku stałym jej uczestnikiem. Można powiedzieć, że był współzałożycielem i współorganizatorem konferencji naukowej IDAACS. W 2015 roku pełnił funkcję jej Co-chairmana, przyjmując gościnnie konferencję IDAACS – 2015 w Politechnice Warszawskiej. Także był Associate Editor czasopisma International Journal of Computing, wydawanego przez nas od 2004 roku. Prywatnie i osobiście chcielibysmy powiedzieć, że był zawsze pomocnym i mądrym kolegą oraz naprawdę dobrym specjalistą. Wieczny odpoczynek racz mu dać, Panie, a światłość wiekuista niechaj mu świeci!
